Alphabet
Title or location given. Players improvise the scene beginning each new line of dialogue with the next consecutive letter of the alphabet. Hilarity ensues! Time constraint: 3 or 4 minutes
Mime
Situation, location or title from the audience. The scene is played entirely without spoken words. The musician provides the score while the players act out a scene. Hilarity ensues. Time constraint: One minute!
I love you scene
Situation from the audience. The team plays a scene in which the words “I love you” must be spoken by one of the characters and their words fully justified. Hilarity ensues. Time constraint: One minute
Death in a minute
Situation from audience. Within one minute, at least one of the characters must be dead and that death must be fully justified and mourned appropriately. Hilarity ensues! Time constraint: One minute!
In a… with a… while a…
Audience supply the location, some accompanying object and some action or event for the players to incorporate into a scene. Hilarity ensues! Time constraint: One minute!
Word at a time story…
Title from the audience. The team members tell a story with each player speaking one word at a time. They may physicalise the story as they tell it. Hilarity ensues. Time constraint: One minute!
Seduction
Situation from the audience. [Maybe a dare] A scene in which one player’s character is reluctantly convinced to do some action that other players’ characters eventually seduce them into doing. Hilarity ensues. Time constraint: One minute!
Status transition
Title from the audience. Two players begin with clearly defined, diametrically opposed, status. (Example: Master and servant; Boss and employee) During the scene the characters stay the same but the situation changes and the status, switched. Other players may assist in the advancing of the…
